Connecting KuCoin

Follow these steps carefully to generate a Read-Only API key from KuCoin and connect it to Alara.

1. 1. Log in:

   Go to KuCoin.com and log in.

2. 2. Find API Settings:

   Profile Icon -> "API Management".

3. 3. Create API Key:

   Click "Create API". Complete security check.

4. 4. Configure Key & Passphrase:

   Name the key (e.g., "Alara_Read"). Create API Passphrase. IMPORTANT: Save passphrase safely!

5. 5. Set Permissions (IMPORTANT!):

   Under "API Restrictions":

   • ONLY CHECK "General". (This usually allows reading data).
   • DO NOT CHECK "Trade" or "Transfer".
   • (IP restriction is optional).

   Click "Next" / "Confirm".

6. 6. Security Check:

   Enter Trading Password, Email Code, 2FA code.

7. 7. Copy Keys & Passphrase:

   Copy API Key. Copy Secret Key (shown only once!). Copy your API Passphrase. Store all three safely.

8. 8. Enter in Alara:

   Go to Alara Dashboard -> Connect New Exchange -> Select "KuCoin". Paste API Key, Secret Key, and API Passphrase. Name it. Click "Connect".
