Connecting Binance

Follow these steps carefully to generate a Read-Only API key from Binance and connect it to Alara.

  1. 1. Log in:

Go to Binance.com (or Binance.US) and log in.
  2. 2. Find API Settings:

Go to Profile Icon -> "API Management".
  3. 3. Create Key:

Name the key (like "Alara_Read"). Click "Create API". Do security check (2FA, email).
  4. 4. Set Permissions (IMPORTANT!):

Click "Edit restrictions" on your new key.
    • ONLY CHECK: "Enable Reading".
    • DO NOT CHECK ANYTHING ELSE (No Trading, No Withdrawals, No Transfers).
    • (IP restriction is optional).
Click "Save" (maybe need 2FA again).
  5. 5. Copy Keys:

Copy the API Key. Copy the Secret Key (shown only once!). Store both safely.
  6. 6. Enter in Alara:

Go to Alara Dashboard -> Connect New Exchange -> Select "Binance". Paste API Key and Secret Key. Name it. Click "Connect".

VPN Note: Binance.com may require a VPN for users in certain regions (like the US). Binance.US has its own API settings and is treated as a separate exchange.

Exchange interfaces change frequently. If these steps seem outdated, please refer to Binance's official API documentation or contact our support.
